Our Services Strategic Planning There is no one prefect strategic planning model that works for each organization. Each organization ends up developing and creating its own culturally competent planning model, one that best fits the organization. Our consultants specialize in assisting community-based organizations in developing and framing an organic strategic planning process. Board Development PRTA's Consultants and Staff are skilled in providing a variety of Board Development services, including retreat planning, effective governance training, development of board self-assessment tools, and creating recruitment plans based on the identification of skills and characteristics needed in a productive and proactive team. These services are designed to assist nonprofit boards to become full partners in achieving the organization's mission and vision. Changing Organizational Culture PRTA's Consultants and Staff are highly skilled in assisting organizations who are undergoing cultural changes based on funding, client demographics, or an executive transition. We believe that organizational culture is the personality of the organization and that culture is also comprised of the assumptions, values, norms and tangible signs (artifacts) of organization members and their behaviors. PRTA's Theory of Change Model assist clients to determine what changes are needed, what resources are available to support change, and what changes will produce what outcomes. Our Consultants and Staff are experts in facilitating and managing organizational change/transition processes. Meeting Facilitation While there is no foolproof way to insure successful meetings, there are a number of guidelines that will go a long way toward helping groups to meet both joyfully and productively.PRTA's Consultants and Staff are highly trained facilitators who accepts responsibility to assist groups accomplish a common task: to move through the agenda in the time available and to make necessary decisions and plans for implementation. Our facilitator makes no decisions for the group, but suggests ways that will help the group to move forward. We works in such a way that the people present at the meeting are aware that we are in charge, that it is their business that is being conducted, and that each person has a role to play. Coalition Building When should you develop a coalition? A coalition is a lot of work, and may not always seem as if it's worth the effort. There are certain situations, however, when it seems to make sense to do something, and a coalition can be one of the best ways to go about it. PRTA's Staff and Consultants are seasoned professionals who have assisted groups in developing effective coalitions and collaborations based on shared values and common goals. Executive Coaching Nonprofit Executives are the principle shapers of an organization's culture. What executives think, do, and how they interact with others is critical to the company's success. High-level managers are often isolated from specific feedback, making it difficult for them to learn and change. That's why, today many senior managers have turned to executive coaching. PRTA's Executive Coaching approach provides short and powerful interventions that simplify complex issues.
